Concluding 2022 with my year-end lists once again. Here are my top 50 favorite songs of the year along with some honorable mentions.
2022 brought a ton of great new albums and songs. So much so that I literally did not have the time to cover everything! Therefore, my list looks a little different because it's missing some albums/songs I would've most likely included if I indeed did have the time to listen to them. Albums from Kelly Lee Owens, Björk, Chk Chk Chk, Everything Everything, Dry Cleaning, Wilco, Tegan and Sara, and many others are ones I just didn't get to this year. I'll try to get to them eventually even though these (and many others not mentioned) are ones I just didn't get to. I'm just one guy who unfortunately does not have the mental capacity at all times to delve into new music all the time. And that's ok!
Now on to my annual year-end lists! Here are my top 50 favorite songs of 2022. I've decided not to write out my thoughts on each one this time due to the amount of work and energy it usually takes in doing so. I hope you understand. Enjoy and thanks for reading. See you in 2023!
